About Hidoku

Hidoku is a puzzle game where you fill a grid with a sequence of numbers (e.g. from 1 to 36).

The beauty of the game lies in its two simple rules:

• Only one solution is possible.
• Each number must touch the number that comes before and after it.

How to Play

1. 1. You start with a grid and some numbers already filled in. The first and last number are highlighted to show you where the sequence begins and ends.
2. 2. To solve the puzzle, fill the rest of the grid with the missing numbers.
3. 3. Each number must touch the numbers that come before and after it. For example, if you place number 5, it must touch both 4 and 6.
4. 4. Numbers can touch in any direction:
   • Horizontally (⬅️ ➡️)
   • Vertically (⬆️ ⬇️)
   • Diagonally (↖️ ↗️ ↙️ ↘️)
5. 5. Remember: Only one solution is possible

Solving Tips

Here's how to get better at solving Hidoku:

• Start at the Ends: Since you always know where 1 and the highest number are, start working your way from either end of the sequence.
• Build Bridges: When you see two numbers that are close together (like 10 and 12), fill in the gap (11 must go between them).
